Patak Motors opens pre-orders for retro-inspired compact electric roadster

Slovakian car company Patak Motors has announced a call for entries for its new original car. It is a roadster in the spirit of the 1930s, reminiscent of the Bugatti Type 35 with its lines. According to the developers’ idea, the novelty will represent a “gentleman’s car” subjected to rethinking.

The auto is being developed by the company from 2020 and will occupy a niche between motorcycles and small cars. It comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, round front headlights, door mirrors and stylish wood steering wheel and front panel. The car will be available in two variations – open-top and folding roof. It will be powered by a 15kW electric motor. There will also be a gas version and even a model with a single-cylinder internal combustion engine.

The electric model will be able to accelerate to 50 km/h in just 7 seconds and a top speed of 130 km/h. The standard battery will provide a range of up to 250 kilometers. It is stated that the time of full charging of the battery will be no more than 4 hours. The standard equipment will include such important options as airbags and immobilizer, power steering and ABS, power brakes and a modern multimedia system. The novelty due to its small dimensions will be extremely convenient for parking in urban areas with busy traffic.
