Oil stays afloat

Crude oil prices remained soft on Tuesday, giving back some of the previous session’s gains, as wildfires in Canada risk disrupting oil supplies.

By 03:26 ET, WTI futures were trading 0.1% lower at $79.07 a barrel, while the Brent contract fell 0.1% to $83.29 a barrel.

Both contracts were up more than 1% each on Monday.
